NEF DEMODAY semi-final on the basis of the business incubator "KBTU Startup Incubator"

Within the framework of the 25th anniversary of the Public Foundation "NNEF" on November 27-28, 2023, Astana will host the IT Fest festival. In the Ready-made Solutions section, students of the leading 6 universities: KBTU, MUIT, AITU, UIB, AUES and VKTU will present their best startup projects.

On November 3, the business incubator "KBTU Startup Incubator" organized the qualifying round - the semifinal of NEW DEMODAY. In total, 75 startups from 6 universities applied, and 34 startups took to the stage of Al-Farabi Hall and presented their projects to the jury members. The top 3 teams from each university will go to Astana on November 27-28 for ITfest.kz, where they will compete for the main prize of 500,000 tenge and the title of the best startup project.

The event began with a networking session and the presentation of the eminent jury, as well as invited guests. Only 3 minutes were allocated for the presentation of projects, the so-called pitching. The question and answer session was organized after all the speeches during the coffee break at the end of the event. The winners were rewarded with tickets to Astana for the final NET DEMODAY and participation in the final.
